Central Connect is the trading name of the bus division of Galleon Travel (2009) Ltd.
We operate local bus routes throughout Herts & Essex both commercially and on behalf of both Hertfordshire and Essex County Councils. With routes spread from Bishop’s Stortford in the North and Loughton in the South, we offer a diverse network for any traveller.
All of our buses are modern and low floor, making our buses accessible to all. We also have dedicated, secure areas for wheelchairs and buggies. All drivers have undertaken the Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence meaning that they are fully qualified in customer care, disability awareness, safe driving and incident management. Regular drivers are placed on routes to develop good relationships with the public, offering a friendly face to both new and established passengers.
All vehicles are fitted with CCTV, recording both sound and visuals, for the safety of passengers and staff. All buses are also routinely maintained in accordance with the government’s ‘Maintaining Roadworthiness’ guidelines.
We run modern, fuel efficient, low-emission buses, keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible.
